About Sharon

Comments by Her Friend, Stephen Cresswell

Sharon worked at the Shop and Save Supermarket in Buckhannon, West Virginia, for nineteen years until it closed in 1999. It was at that time she opened A Domestic Friend, a business that offers pet-sitting services, dog-walking, and Flint River Ranch pet foods.

Sharon is a cyclone of energy. While most new businesses don't last a year, Sharon has watched her business grow with each passing year. Her customers who travel know the peace of mind of having a responsible, insured, bonded, animal lover taking care of their pets and homes while they are away. Others have been pleasantly surprised to watch their pet's health improve after starting on Flint River Ranch chow.

When she is not working on her business, Sharon enjoys her home and garden in the countryside outside Buckhannon. She enjoys taking motorcycle rides with her husband, Bob. She also enjoys training in Search and Rescue with her dog Sheeba. Recently she adopted two kittens that had been dumped near her home; they are named Sammy and Samantha.

Editor:

When you go out of town and can't take your "best friend" with you—or for some reason need help caring for your pet, it is comforting to have someone dependable and compassionate to turn to.

When I had surgery and knew I would need help with pet care, I was so lucky to find Sharon Ours of "A Domestic Friend." Sharon came to my home to meet her client and to find out exactly how I wanted things done. Sharon really cares about her clients and their owners.

My dog and I highly recommend Sharon Ours to our canine, feline, and all other friends who need excellent care.
